Service overview

Steel reinforcement is critical to the strength and safety of reinforced concrete structures. Concrete carries compression, steel carries tension, and if the bar does not reach its rated yield stress the design margin is gone before the structure is even loaded. Steel testing confirms that what arrived at site matches what the structural drawing assumed.

Our steel testing services assess the key mechanical properties of reinforcement bars: tensile strength, yield stress, percentage elongation, and bend performance. Testing is carried out on a calibrated universal testing machine, with acceptance limits taken from IS 1786 for the declared grade such as Fe 415, Fe 500, or Fe 550.

These reports are used for batch and lot approval, brand verification, and third party quality checks on residential, commercial, highway, bridge, and government projects. Each report states the bar diameter, grade, test method, and observed values so it can be submitted to consultants and departments without follow up.
